I had posted these journal pages on Instagram a few days ago<br />
and thought I would share the details.<br />
I love the gypsy boho style of these pages and I <br />
am fascinated by Fortune Telling.<br />
This is my Halloween journal I made a couple of years ago.<br />
I try to create pages in it every year around this time.<br />
I created this journal with an idea of it being the journal of the<br />
daughter of a 17th century undertaker and her obsession with her<br />
fathers work and the death of the people he brings into<br />
the mortuary where they also reside. The question of how,<br />
when and where they died was something she was always trying to<br />
figure out and this journal is where she documents everything<br />
she discovers.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVoI1Npa9JNu1BXwJJvCBOx4cm4GjgNlx5URQLnMLoq1X9665wzCk77WFOm22AdHc8tF9Gt6AS7NxGShyX2a9Jb0J9AtwcMQCX5IWBPXipvaPQCNJtdFax7veZiRfxa5QNVcWpOIqyjSE/s1600/20191028_153501.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVoI1Npa9JNu1BXwJJvCBOx4cm4GjgNlx5URQLnMLoq1X9665wzCk77WFOm22AdHc8tF9Gt6AS7NxGShyX2a9Jb0J9AtwcMQCX5IWBPXipvaPQCNJtdFax7veZiRfxa5QNVcWpOIqyjSE/s640/20191028_153501.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
These pages are of the mysterious death of a Fortune Teller but the focused<br />
is on her spirituality rather than her death.<br />
I started with two pages that I had already sown on coffee stained coffee<br />
filter and doily. I added some lace trim to the coffee filter that I had<br />
made look grungy with some barn door, black soot and<br />
vintage photo distress ink. On the opposite page I sewed on a<br />
fabric flower to create a tab then distressed it with a little<br />
black soot distress ink. <br />
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmOmO9GCEJUCyOICtsOnTI2Lg6K7A6XZspw7NCrIRBTOhmLTNWXkazdHf2Vat21ee86G_T6KqBSyGQ_rxCBF82el2Z7UC9BWP_J_-W5taPEoZkwaRn1rLqlb9ua-rJeDoRKIiiRUNjI8k/s1600/20191029_145542.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmOmO9GCEJUCyOICtsOnTI2Lg6K7A6XZspw7NCrIRBTOhmLTNWXkazdHf2Vat21ee86G_T6KqBSyGQ_rxCBF82el2Z7UC9BWP_J_-W5taPEoZkwaRn1rLqlb9ua-rJeDoRKIiiRUNjI8k/s400/20191029_145542.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I stamped on the page with the distress archival ink vintage photo, ground<br />
espresso and walnut stain using Tim Holtz fragments and the tree is a<br />
wood mounted stamp from Inkadinkado 2016. The paper was coffee stained<br />
prior to binding it in the journal. <br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
I stamped on the coffee filter with ground espresso archival ink and the fragments</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
stamp. The eye is from Tim Holtz Cadaverous stamp set. I added an </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
embellishment under the eye that I cut from a piece of a vintage sari which </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I purchased from ETSY.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
For the other page I added another piece of the vintage sari with a </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
coin pinned to it with a safety pin. The head image came from a vintage book</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
about fortune telling. It came from the section on how to read</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
the bumps on a persons head and the vintage tickets were</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
purchased from Instagram. @<a class="FPmhX notranslate _0imsa " href="https://www.instagram.com/tremblayspapershop/" title="tremblayspapershop">tremblayspapershop</a> @<a class="FPmhX notranslate _0imsa " href="https://www.instagram.com/the_mad__fox/" title="the_mad__fox">the_mad__fox</a></div>

and @<a class="FPmhX notranslate _0imsa " href="https://www.instagram.com/paperharborco/" title="paperharborco">paperharborco</a> are a few of my favorite. They always have</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
amazing vintage paper goodies. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUNd38zdurpUMGgJ242LqqohifTmFyF6-odEXz8jdNHl6giI7REJ0Od4iDA2qcj0OkpIouePTnfMKTn4N1V2aLhGOaartFQWqBWkIJXYnQhqPKOCrqP-Sz4yNpS4Lrpt3ilo_FgDWde-Y/s1600/20191029_145819.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUNd38zdurpUMGgJ242LqqohifTmFyF6-odEXz8jdNHl6giI7REJ0Od4iDA2qcj0OkpIouePTnfMKTn4N1V2aLhGOaartFQWqBWkIJXYnQhqPKOCrqP-Sz4yNpS4Lrpt3ilo_FgDWde-Y/s400/20191029_145819.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I made this journaling card using a vintage mini file divider. It was coffee</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
stained then I stenciled on some Ranger Texture Paste opaque crackle. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The stencil was Prima I believe it is called Cherish. </div>

<br /></div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgw5XQdArqEO8Ujf_DMHGL4LhmRmfg9_aCzxnF5chYmcaBvOiwSYY6oDQW5VNNieQNhWYEb_PmkWnfByGCKVJElXhlRltF2C6NYH_KBFJbOvifpOmtDBj2lH6H5wmvuf2pUnkw6gkzM0nU/s1600/20191029_145712.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgw5XQdArqEO8Ujf_DMHGL4LhmRmfg9_aCzxnF5chYmcaBvOiwSYY6oDQW5VNNieQNhWYEb_PmkWnfByGCKVJElXhlRltF2C6NYH_KBFJbOvifpOmtDBj2lH6H5wmvuf2pUnkw6gkzM0nU/s400/20191029_145712.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
After it was dried I sprayed seedless preserves, broken china and</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Victorian velvet distress oxide spray. I added lots of droplets of water. I love</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
that look. Added some stamps from Tim Holtz mini Halloween 5 set and </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
correspondence stamp set. I added the work Palmistry typed with</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
my vintage type writer. The final touch was adding this</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
vintage cabinet card photo with a paper clip. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxAhpRb2cK2VUvqB6txx8EzAUQeH351rJF3Az9DwANx1UmgNUchlFSbBKqGHKQugJxTyckaUduSNqZQAg8yHqQDxKWRrVlAO4-ZG97UVyfueyXdabnclyrGcDJmhAnvNeDB1Rfzyt5G7Y/s1600/20191029_145658.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxAhpRb2cK2VUvqB6txx8EzAUQeH351rJF3Az9DwANx1UmgNUchlFSbBKqGHKQugJxTyckaUduSNqZQAg8yHqQDxKWRrVlAO4-ZG97UVyfueyXdabnclyrGcDJmhAnvNeDB1Rfzyt5G7Y/s400/20191029_145658.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
When I stamped on the coffee filter and then flipped it opened<br />
the stamp went through to the other side and it looks like it was stamped<br />
on both sides. Didn't know it would do that. Happy accident.<br />

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hello everyone, I so enjoy the month of October. The weather is cooler<br />
and everywhere I look I am reminded that this is the month<br />
for mischief and me ham. Where the wicked, scary, creepy and<br />
odd get to shine. I am a Vampire fan and one of my favorite things to do in<br />
October is watch and many Vampire movies as I can. So of course<br />
the second altered page of my series "The Society of the Supernatural"<br />
is Count Dracula. I am drawn to his dark and tragic love story. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWOhJo1Z63WjXFZmtS72DX1o7hmLG0u8puI4Pz5dsBfgwgvlD82CjzSigeUA7l3p17r87anfybNCLjog4OPBYpcONx9dQ20VlchtavALCkG6tBmnhEbVYgyqvn23Y8m1oEYQOtbGDuaOc/s1600/20191001_104411.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWOhJo1Z63WjXFZmtS72DX1o7hmLG0u8puI4Pz5dsBfgwgvlD82CjzSigeUA7l3p17r87anfybNCLjog4OPBYpcONx9dQ20VlchtavALCkG6tBmnhEbVYgyqvn23Y8m1oEYQOtbGDuaOc/s640/20191001_104411.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started by standing up the album page and spraying it with Tim Holtz distress Oxide </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
spray in black soot, fired brick and ground espresso in random spots than</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
sprayed water so the colors would drip down the page. Then I dried it with a heat gun and<br />
rubbed black soot distressed ink pad around the edge. Then I did some water drops and<br />
splattered it with black soot, fire brick and pumice stone Oxide spray. I added the bats on the top<br />
left with a stencil and black soot distress ink and the top right is Tim Holtz Decayed stencil<br />
that I sprayed distress oxide spray pumice stone on and flipped it over and did<br />
a print. A technique he showed on Facebook live. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDR3iWR495csxiUNV8d9-CUB0JikUZugNmof4XBBVuBsGRagwvNSicUR1_iV6gez8FkW7cbbzcW3pf_iarmvCgBVZ76a76sKIDWlHCAOny-LmdsXXJ4TkeGu-qH5j78oHC-bF-Le2ire0/s1600/20191001_104321.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDR3iWR495csxiUNV8d9-CUB0JikUZugNmof4XBBVuBsGRagwvNSicUR1_iV6gez8FkW7cbbzcW3pf_iarmvCgBVZ76a76sKIDWlHCAOny-LmdsXXJ4TkeGu-qH5j78oHC-bF-Le2ire0/s400/20191001_104321.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
For the "Count Dracula" plaque I used moulding clay in a Prima Marketing IOD mould. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Sprayed it with Pumice Stone Oxide spray and distressed it with black soot </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
distress crayon. I rubbed it in with my fingers and added a little water to get it in </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
the grooves. Then I printed "Count Dracula" from my computer on a sheet</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
of transparent sticker paper. The words "Blood is Life Love is Forever" are typed</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
on a piece of coffee stained paper with one of my ole type writers and then torn and </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
distressed with black soot ink. I decoupaged them and a torn and distressed piece</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
of paper from the Tim Holtz abandoned paper stash.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbJ4J8DF5GJrdioLZHoTSdBD_eWW8lIz6KMJ9jxUbva55NpKuHQquHclKYU1WY-97hyphenhyphen4hNIlej8GOmsEWyJtpXbfKRiNYVQryIav0MOfcqBYc0ibqscTJccGMSDCgBdsTZNSczSmhe_tQ/s1600/20191001_104346.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbJ4J8DF5GJrdioLZHoTSdBD_eWW8lIz6KMJ9jxUbva55NpKuHQquHclKYU1WY-97hyphenhyphen4hNIlej8GOmsEWyJtpXbfKRiNYVQryIav0MOfcqBYc0ibqscTJccGMSDCgBdsTZNSczSmhe_tQ/s400/20191001_104346.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
I used red sealing wax and a seal for the lower right with some gauze behind it. The<br />
gauze was stained with black soot oxide spray. I dripped some of the wax in<br />
random spots. Added some washi tape, stained gauze and a bat from The Tim Holtz<br />
Halloween adornments that I colored with black soot alcohol ink. I also melted some wax<br />
behind the bat over the gauze then pressed the bat in it. I like the dark blood red color.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnq6oktx94Vx0J2Fmt9HYJNhCIdhJF4MSU7uz9pa8FM7bsYt_WApZhwC1ZmfxhVNjmNL8kdD0Im_krG8Xuec83WKeMcGe8cDrTbfghBzwi8jMhQdEx6MjmHj3cSj-loxqJsc9SjsBs9ZI/s1600/20191001_104301.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnq6oktx94Vx0J2Fmt9HYJNhCIdhJF4MSU7uz9pa8FM7bsYt_WApZhwC1ZmfxhVNjmNL8kdD0Im_krG8Xuec83WKeMcGe8cDrTbfghBzwi8jMhQdEx6MjmHj3cSj-loxqJsc9SjsBs9ZI/s400/20191001_104301.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Added another bat from the Tim Holtz Halloween Idea-ology line and a red resin rose to </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
to the middle of the wax seal. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieTLBm7XbO4J2xMDpXRuhBIJZpGtXURV9na8MsHrmAckpFjmwkw-hqDtApi0HwIhZWlXfG0PQmGZInHA8AGPaKF6b3V8f5GwQDz8Vf_zPbWbCYmDGdNmTXKIzOKdOyeIDMA05vo3ktxo0/s400/20191001_104228.jpg" width="300" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
And for the Count himself, I photocopied an old cabinet card on to coffee<br />
stained card stock then inked the edges with fired brick and black soot distress ink.<br />
Then I used an oval shaped piece of card stock to mask the Count and sprayed<br />
some water to give the edges a faded and distressed look. The hat I did the same<br />
as the first page "Witches and Warlocks" that you can see <a href="http://enchantedbella.blogspot.com/2019/08/something-wicked-this-way-comes.html">here</a> and the fangs I<br />
just used distress spray ink Picket Fence and a pen nib calligraphy pen.<br />
<br />
Thank you for stopping by and<br />
Have a spooky day.<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
This project I did with a background that was made using a technique from<br />
Tim Holtz live tutorial. I started with this antique tintype of this beautiful girl<br />
with such a haunting look on her face. (notice how shes not wearing any shoes) <br />
I couldn't help but imagine what she might be thinking. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGNIaOCK4GO3jILflrep9FlgMDml5t30VcgqwXhIAyAFTnL6eUADabrEKRY42I9C5AkDepYFXoOQ7GjrXLzeVsfBbAK38v3udwj1U1ea2SJTePPmE4WVPvEEkmtnT7InsQrqGAE0DW4Ms/s1600/IMG_20190905_155634_317.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGNIaOCK4GO3jILflrep9FlgMDml5t30VcgqwXhIAyAFTnL6eUADabrEKRY42I9C5AkDepYFXoOQ7GjrXLzeVsfBbAK38v3udwj1U1ea2SJTePPmE4WVPvEEkmtnT7InsQrqGAE0DW4Ms/s320/IMG_20190905_155634_317.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I did the print technique from the tutorial. I spritzed a piece of cardstock<br />
with water. Then I sprayed Tim Holtz Walnut Stain, Wilted Violet and<br />
Spiced Marmalade distress Oxide Spray. Then I added some<br />
Black Soot distress Spray Stain. Sprayed it with water<br />
and moved it around. Then I laid another piece<br />
of cardstock on top to soak up all the colors. I am always amazed<br />
at how colors turn out. <br />
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
After it was dry I sprayed some Rusty Hing Oxide spray and added</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
some water droplets. Then I splattered some Picket Fence. I Added</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
a piece of an old proscription and Pharmacy postage stamp. The stamps sets that</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used were Tim Holtz Architecture, Correspondence and Mini Halloween 5.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I embossed the palm reader hand with black embossing powder </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
and splattered some black soot Spray Stain to look like ink spots. I distresses</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
the edges of everything with Gathered Twig distress ink and used </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Ranger Black Soot and Ground Espresso archival ink for the stamps.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjC9eYKDwGQie6b4a5cQ76VeKX37cfA3qC0qL-vK7YkvtD46HWUIbDlL5pvF7zG0doxMQUniYj2_pFL5Sw66Q1jcFjMpxiLrVESpKy_OSTDCzeJQJUQ1Z9r-1Z8Es7luD9SxbR81BWMCfs/s1600/IMG_20190905_141639_233.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjC9eYKDwGQie6b4a5cQ76VeKX37cfA3qC0qL-vK7YkvtD46HWUIbDlL5pvF7zG0doxMQUniYj2_pFL5Sw66Q1jcFjMpxiLrVESpKy_OSTDCzeJQJUQ1Z9r-1Z8Es7luD9SxbR81BWMCfs/s320/IMG_20190905_141639_233.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For the bottle pen I uses Mushroom and Sepia alcohol ink to distress the bottle </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
and pen nib. I had to move the bottle around while the ink dried to give it that </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
drippy look. Then I glued the nib to the bottle with hot glue. The label</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
is one of the sticky labels that came with the Tim Holtz Ideaology</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Apothecary vials. I crinkles it up and distressed it with black soot ink.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaZ380i9d5O4GTE0X1MlblrG015vF3d7ychNZUVYDMtC14XRnn0y1Q_hgwVJdnkIbKoa1KCpQiuYxrG_A2iW_m7JLnDHNRd0XZzcecpFpraVOVTxXtY4KsFaRZKb7XbiamOjobh1t-p8E/s1600/20190910_174425.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaZ380i9d5O4GTE0X1MlblrG015vF3d7ychNZUVYDMtC14XRnn0y1Q_hgwVJdnkIbKoa1KCpQiuYxrG_A2iW_m7JLnDHNRd0XZzcecpFpraVOVTxXtY4KsFaRZKb7XbiamOjobh1t-p8E/s320/20190910_174425.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I noticed that the stamp on the prescription is No. 11 so I put two of Tim Holtz</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Ideaology numbered index clips on the bottom of the tintype. "11" Reminds me of that show </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Stranger Things. Love that show. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgtG95ItnwGTZ8JKM1_AdZe97yWTXU52OuI8Tw8GtXsrb-AcMd9M96SpLO9igJHiTlU9OmZaCsPlumE1th9LLt7bnSd8ZKNBxLiqz8XwZRwJ06N_PU3HtD61isUoH3GYBO5-Rqkc6oqB4/s1600/tintypes.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1237" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgtG95ItnwGTZ8JKM1_AdZe97yWTXU52OuI8Tw8GtXsrb-AcMd9M96SpLO9igJHiTlU9OmZaCsPlumE1th9LLt7bnSd8ZKNBxLiqz8XwZRwJ06N_PU3HtD61isUoH3GYBO5-Rqkc6oqB4/s320/tintypes.jpg" width="247" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here is a free printable of some of my tintypes for you to use </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
on your projects. This is my first printable and I'm not very computer savvy so </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I didn't do any digital enhancing of these. I just scanned and uploaded. If you </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
are interested in a printable of the tintype I used for this project</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
let me know. The first scan I did included that one too but</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
it didn't work. I could try it again. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thank you and have a wonderful day.</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is the first of a series of four that I am going to create called <br />
"The Society of the Supernatural". This one is Witches and Warlocks. </div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikpkFDfWQUocHklzr5o8DfTpsfO8mozUQup7oP0DGtJEPqX4TYP9r_C1HItf3-YvEME_1DcJCR3YxKB22Xq9hBVO1wbfAdLLpVSldF-2GW5-J41MFoTLGwsZ3z_XXpoc4idd6dmjtc57g/s1600/20190804_161459.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikpkFDfWQUocHklzr5o8DfTpsfO8mozUQup7oP0DGtJEPqX4TYP9r_C1HItf3-YvEME_1DcJCR3YxKB22Xq9hBVO1wbfAdLLpVSldF-2GW5-J41MFoTLGwsZ3z_XXpoc4idd6dmjtc57g/s640/20190804_161459.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I had these pages form an antique photo album that was falling apart </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
and I've been wanting to do something with them for a long time now.<br />
As I was looking around for inspiration I finally came up with <br />
something that incorporates my favorite Holiday. HALLOWEEN! <br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used distress and oxide distress inks and sprays with crackle paste to </div>
grunge it up.</div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfyN23gMe0fH8-XqoGOwnnirKBNI4ygQ4YXc_TTr0YlJ9A1C76Hrb-9gDxV1-_MKTQ3xPgU3Dvi0kAMsemN5A55Mgu_SOfz1UoX_jZo36WC659QocXh0rP6x6W6aw3HOIQD3joMJA2tsE/s1600/20190804_161539.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfyN23gMe0fH8-XqoGOwnnirKBNI4ygQ4YXc_TTr0YlJ9A1C76Hrb-9gDxV1-_MKTQ3xPgU3Dvi0kAMsemN5A55Mgu_SOfz1UoX_jZo36WC659QocXh0rP6x6W6aw3HOIQD3joMJA2tsE/s400/20190804_161539.jpg" width="300" /></a> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The apothecary bottle was simply done with tissue paper and distress ink</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
that was glued on with mod podge. I added a string around the neck with a little metal</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
tag. The stamps I used for this project are Tim Holtz Halloween</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
stamps except for the witches had. That is an older one I have .</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhG0KN7OaBXzRhIih8VWCXnihUCvbVVxY3V8rHiOtBw-7jTfc9qu0rmRB4_7yPjir6BRjQNzbKxWZU1nqMLmaRdRd1XCtrGvjCVdmysGh9I47uDyQ4QVmgUBLg1wjgRbDd82OpvRlsOzLA/s1600/20190804_161549.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhG0KN7OaBXzRhIih8VWCXnihUCvbVVxY3V8rHiOtBw-7jTfc9qu0rmRB4_7yPjir6BRjQNzbKxWZU1nqMLmaRdRd1XCtrGvjCVdmysGh9I47uDyQ4QVmgUBLg1wjgRbDd82OpvRlsOzLA/s400/20190804_161549.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgq5M0WNPj5TCYsiTkt3eRAoE9WEEQDgO-VViikAv9jTONS_T-15VwTcVMT2j-y_4KMDvIxvn2d3kcvPhfrgS2BkO_MUHaK9gPmiNqXtD1Yhix5oxzXOi8PExjwW6Sn7BA0reIFYT79ZT0/s1600/20190805_230523.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgq5M0WNPj5TCYsiTkt3eRAoE9WEEQDgO-VViikAv9jTONS_T-15VwTcVMT2j-y_4KMDvIxvn2d3kcvPhfrgS2BkO_MUHaK9gPmiNqXtD1Yhix5oxzXOi8PExjwW6Sn7BA0reIFYT79ZT0/s400/20190805_230523.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I added some stamping and stamp embossing. The hats were done with</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
stamp embossing on card stock and then I fussy cut them out. <br />
I have a collection of antique cabinet cards but I didn't want to altered them.<br />
So I made a photocopy onto coffee stained card stock to use.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjo81PQ8XjmXCAUczPCObwfOZfzEEYizpUf-ntyOpB07WDa8MSj2kWZYldc7LFvyPdA7dllK6dlRlKgLjzTatrlPJp8HrTuEnxRXZG1LCkcNPtzbAop7dYzhN4JvyflDJuTZ2Z7QTZ5DV4/s1600/20190804_161613.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjo81PQ8XjmXCAUczPCObwfOZfzEEYizpUf-ntyOpB07WDa8MSj2kWZYldc7LFvyPdA7dllK6dlRlKgLjzTatrlPJp8HrTuEnxRXZG1LCkcNPtzbAop7dYzhN4JvyflDJuTZ2Z7QTZ5DV4/s400/20190804_161613.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
I glued the photocopy in before I added the hats. Then I wanted to add some </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
water drops to the distressed photo frame. I didn't think about covering the<br />
photo but it turned out ok. The water drops gave a great eerie/spooky <br />
effect on the photo. See the one that landed right on his eyes. Love that.<br />
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_bE4SLyENHyseL3m5GTipC0Fmp3SZjreKSq1c5QP_zJ0ppNDvwFNSWmVoCOeXBFA-jPLQfMUmfSwCjjqCwPcYZEUpvM8fU2j9ORobKVllO8KnE4IR2O8Fm-nLpgKa_o2A9sFuIU5n3Gs/s1600/20190805_230703.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_bE4SLyENHyseL3m5GTipC0Fmp3SZjreKSq1c5QP_zJ0ppNDvwFNSWmVoCOeXBFA-jPLQfMUmfSwCjjqCwPcYZEUpvM8fU2j9ORobKVllO8KnE4IR2O8Fm-nLpgKa_o2A9sFuIU5n3Gs/s400/20190805_230703.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then I added the embellishments. The skulls and cross bones with moss and </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
some tattered cheese cloth. Tucked in a couple of vintage apothecary labels and added</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
one of the Tim Holtz black resin roses with a little embossing to give it some </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
crustiness. The metal adornment in the right hand corner also needed some crustiness. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I distresses it with mushroom and sepia alcohol inks. Then did some embossing</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
to add the yummy texture.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thank you </div>

I didn't even realize it had been that long. So I'm just going to jump right in. This is a piece I made for a friend. She loves horses and vintage so I wanted to use some of the old salvaged pieces I have been hording. That is my plan for this year, to get out the large ever growing stash of things I have collected and use it to create. I am not one for sticking to plans but this is something I really want to do and I hope that is enough to keep me motivated.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used an antique book cover for the base.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxaQUBGefIZX8Jx1BADBoMTj33HoIYVCJa1VsyJedWzLAKAZA7XHkqNhGZ7KIJ6ix1yUDbFrf9rOyt0DTsna2Y2CG_SiSDnQ1pcUkXaGSaAB9G5H6961VQiQ_fJRUm-OIfKVnRFiIDYlI/s1600/DSC_0004.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1072" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxaQUBGefIZX8Jx1BADBoMTj33HoIYVCJa1VsyJedWzLAKAZA7XHkqNhGZ7KIJ6ix1yUDbFrf9rOyt0DTsna2Y2CG_SiSDnQ1pcUkXaGSaAB9G5H6961VQiQ_fJRUm-OIfKVnRFiIDYlI/s640/DSC_0004.JPG" width="428" /></a></div>
<br />
Added some old salvaged pieces like a rusty nail, found bottle,<br />
another rusty piece that looks like maybe a pipe clamp<br />
and a horse cut out of salvaged metal that I got at<br />
a Junk Flea Market.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcApJRTkRR17pvTMNWNL-DBHfFwyrSwbe7Iq9ghtxiAbVyVwlNhYTcJie7qgn5-rq7zTyKnnwSdQr_rNw8KnpIFzBgVWRJ6N_M-l5OEU7f8VRLQGxrljyqBjtOWdXDLjL105cpfMaalWU/s1600/DSC_0008.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1072" data-original-width="1600" height="267" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcApJRTkRR17pvTMNWNL-DBHfFwyrSwbe7Iq9ghtxiAbVyVwlNhYTcJie7qgn5-rq7zTyKnnwSdQr_rNw8KnpIFzBgVWRJ6N_M-l5OEU7f8VRLQGxrljyqBjtOWdXDLjL105cpfMaalWU/s400/DSC_0008.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
A piece of an antique book page, some chipboard embellishments,<br />
cheese cloth and flowers to soften it up.<br />
